How to Unsubmit a Pending Timesheet in Keka
This guide provides clear instructions on how to make changes to your timesheet before it's approved
Occasionally, employees may need to make changes to a timesheet submitted for approval. Keka’s intuitive system allows users to unsubmit timesheets that are still awaiting approval, making it easy to correct or update entries.
Why Unsubmitting Timesheets is Useful:
- Flexibility: Allows employees to correct errors or update information before final approval.
- Transparency: Ensures accurate records are maintained, reducing discrepancies.
- Efficiency: Saves time for managers by preventing the need for post-approval revisions.
Follow these steps to unsubmit your pending timesheet:
Steps to Unsubmit a Pending Timesheet
Log in to your Keka account. Go to the Me section in the main menu and select Timesheet. You’ll be directed to the All Timesheets tab. Use the Date Range filter to locate the specific timesheet you wish to unsubmit.
Click on the Unsubmit Timesheet button next to the relevant entry. A confirmation popup will appear. Click Unsubmit to confirm the action.
After successfully unsubmitting, you can edit your timesheet. Once all changes are made, click on Submit Weekly Timesheet to resubmit it for approval.
Important Notes:

Pending Approval Only:
The timesheet must be in a pending approval state to be unsubmittable. Once approved, the unsubmit option will no longer be available. -
Approved Timesheets:
If you need to unsubmit an already approved timesheet, additional processes or administrative permissions might be required.
