Daily Timesheet Submissions in Keka PSA
Keka PSA allows for daily timesheet submissions, providing greater flexibility and control over time tracking.
Steps to Submit the Daily Timesheet:
Step 1: Open the Keka Mobile App
- Login and Go to Me Tab: Open the Keka mobile app, log in, and navigate to the Me tab.
- Access Timesheet Section: Within the Me tab, locate and tap on the Timesheet section.
Step 2: Submit Your Weekly Timesheet
- Weekly Timesheet Format: The weekly timesheet runs from Monday to Sunday. Submission requires entries for all seven days, regardless of tasks added.
- Add Task: Select a specific day, tap on Add Tasks, and the Day View screen will open. Here, you can record tasks and add comments if needed.
When entering the Day View screen, the Select All option will be enabled by default.
Step 3: Add Tasks to Your Timesheet
-
Selecting Tasks: Initially, all tasks will be selected by default. You can:
- Tap Unselect All if you wish to customize entries.
-
- Show Last 5 Tasks: Recent tasks appear here, listed with the most recently added task on top.
-
Task Completion and Entry:
- If a project deadline has passed, you can remove the associated project and its tasks from this section.
- Tasks will be recorded as entries for the entire week.
Step 4: Time Entry and Comments
- Add Time for Each Task: Select the appropriate date and enter the time spent on each task.
- Add Comments: Based on the app’s timesheet settings, comments may be required or optional for each time entry:
- For required comments, a 'Required' label will display, and the Save button will be disabled until a comment is entered.
- For optional comments, the Save button remains active regardless of comments.
Step 5: Review and Submit
- Finalize Entries: Once you’ve added your time entries and comments, review the timesheet entries.
Home Page Access: You can view all timesheet entries on the Home page.
Starting and Pausing Timer: If a timer is active, tapping it will pause and open the task entry screen. Re-clicking on a paused time entry will also open this screen.
- If comments are set as mandatory, the Save button will be disabled until a comment is provided.
Timer Reset: If any timer exceeds 24 hours, it automatically resets to zero.
2. Submit: Tap the Submit button to log your timesheet.
Your timesheet entries have been successfully submitted through the mobile app.
Following these steps will make tracking your time smooth and effortless. For additional guidance, please refer to the official Keka Help Center (PSA).
