How can I efficiently add or update multiple project tasks in Keka PSA

In a project, you may encounter numerous tasks, some of which might be applicable across multiple projects. To streamline the process and avoid adding tasks one by one, you can efficiently import Phases and Tasks in Keka.

 

To initiate the import of tasks for your projects, navigate to the Projects section (1) and select the Bulk Import option (2). Within the Timesheet Import menu, choose the Import Project Tasks option (2).

 


 

In the window that appears, select the option to download the Excel template.

 


 

In the template, input the necessary information in the designated fields.

Please note that column titles highlighted in red are mandatory for the import process. 

After completing the entries, be sure to save the file.

 


 

Next, return to Keka on the same page and click on the 'Upload Excel File' button to upload the file you just saved. This will take you to the next stage of the import process.   

 


 

Review the columns in the Match Columns section to ensure they align correctly, then click on the Continue button to proceed.

 


 

On the final page, review the information and make any necessary adjustments. If everything appears correct and there are no errors, you can proceed by clicking the Complete button.
