Why Use 0% Allocation?
- Temporary Assignments: Ideal for temporarily assigning team members without locking them into specific hours. This helps for situations where you need their involvement but aren’t assigning exact tasks.
- Resource Pooling: Enables the creation of a flexible resource pool, making it easy to assign individuals to projects on demand.
- Advanced Project Planning: Allows project managers to plan for future resource needs without immediate commitment, streamlining preparation.
Benefits of 0% Allocation

How to Set Up 0% Allocation in Keka PSA
Follow these steps to allocate a resource at 0%:
- Go to Projects in the left-hand navigation panel.
- Select the specific project, then click on Team.
- In the Active Allocation section, choose Add Resource.
- In the "Add Resource" window:
- Choose the Resource Name.
- Under Allocation, click on Set Allocation.
- Enter the Start Date and End Date.
- Select 0% as the allocation percentage, then click Done to save.
