What?
A post-payroll report that splits the pay register by cost center. One row per employee × receiving cost center, carrying every pay component, so finance can slice on any salary element and drive their intercompany recharges from it.
Why?
Core HR now allows an employee to be tagged to multiple cost centers with a fixed allocation % (e.g., 70% / 20% / 10%), effective-dated. This was built specifically because customers like Alpha Minds run cost centers at the legal-entity level — hotel/resort properties that share staff across sister entities and need each entity's books to carry only its share of payroll cost.
Impacted Customer
Enterprise customers across India and GCC.
Hot customer: Alpha Minds — hospitality group; the catalyst customer for this request.
- Staff are allocated by fixed % across legal entities (resorts/hotels), and each entity's P&L must reflect only its share of cost.
- Liabilities are booked in parent legal entity of employee, however total cost is split to other legal entities (venues/cost centers).
- The current set up has 16 legal entities (and paygroups) corresponding to 16 venues.
