The Position-Based Hiring and Tracking enhancement introduces position-level visibility within the hiring workflow. Instead of managing hiring only at the job level, recruiters can now create and track multiple positions under a single job request. Each position can be independently owned, monitored, and closed from request initiation to candidate onboarding.
This feature enables more structured workforce planning, prevents over-hiring, and provides reliable analytics on hiring performance without relying on external spreadsheets.
Key Highlights
1. Position-Level Hiring Management
- Create multiple positions under a single job.
- Assign ownership and track each position independently.
- Monitor hiring progress from request to closure.
2. Consolidated Position View
The Positions tab inside a job provides a single dashboard showing:
- Closed vs Total positions
- Planned vs Unplanned positions
- Position ID and classification
- Location and hiring timeline
- Start hire date and target hire date
- Position status (Open or Closed)
- Time to close
- Candidate details after closure
3. Automated Time-to-Close Calculation
Time to close is calculated automatically as:
Candidate hired date (position closure date) − Position start hire date
This metric is system-generated and cannot be edited manually.
4. Candidate Reassignment for Closed Positions
- Candidates can be moved to another position under the same job without reopening the closed position.
- This is useful for internal adjustments or hiring corrections.
Reports and Analytics
Users can track hiring performance across jobs using analytics reports that display:
- Time to close
- Candidate name
- Position closure details
- Recruiter responsible for closure
- Planned vs unplanned position distribution
- Job status (Open, Closed, Overdue)
Filters such as date range selection allow detailed hiring trend analysis.
Benefits
