New Capability: Manually Send Spot Rewards Anytime

We’ve added a powerful new feature that allows Admins to manually distribute Spot Reward points to employees on an ad hoc basis—no need to wait for scheduled events like birthdays or work anniversaries.

Why This Matters

Previously, reward points could only be distributed through date-triggered events or predefined workflows. This limited how and when organisations could recognise employee contributions.

With this update, organisations now have full flexibility to reward individuals or groups for achievements that don’t align with fixed timelines—such as project completions, certifications, or outstanding performance.

Key Highlights

1. Flexible Distribution: Send points instantly—any day, any time.

2. Targeted Recognition: Reward individuals or use filters like department, location, or worker type.

3. Real-Time Value Preview: See point totals and currency conversion before sending.

4. Better Engagement: Reinforce meaningful contributions when they happen.

What It Looks Like

1. Admins can access this feature via Engage > Rewards > Spot Rewards > Give rewards. 

   

2. From there, they can:

• Enter a reward value and reason.

• Search and select specific employees.

  

• Or apply advanced filters like Department, Location and Worker Type to reward a targeted group.

  

• Review the summary and send points instantly. 

  

• Once rewards are sent, they appear instantly in the Spot Rewards history panel, reflecting the employee name, date, and reward reason.

This enhancement supports a more agile and appreciative culture by putting recognition directly in the hands of HR and leadership—exactly when it's earned.
