In Keka, employee requests like leave and attendance are typically routed through an approval chain, often handled by managers or team leads. However, admins who oversee time and attendance also play a key role in ensuring these requests are processed smoothly.
This guide is for admins who need to review, manage, and act on leave, work-from-home (WFH), and similar requests using the Time Attend section in Keka.
Steps
Go to the Time Attend section
Log into your Keka admin account.
From the main menu, navigate to Time Attend.
Click the Approvals tab
Inside Time Attend, open the Approvals tab.
This tab is your central hub for all types of time and attendance requests.
Select a request type
The Approvals tab is divided into categories such as:
Leave Requests
WFH Requests
Other time-related requests
Each category helps you quickly find the relevant set of pending requests.
Check request badges
Each category shows a badge with the count of new or pending requests.
These badges make it easy to see where your attention is needed.
Review and take action
Inside each category, you'll see a list of requests.
For each item, you can:
View request details
Approve or reject as needed
This helps maintain a smooth approval flow across the organization.
Use filters to narrow down results
Use the provided filters to search and sort through requests.
You can filter by employee name, request date, or request type.
This is especially helpful when managing a high volume of requests.
Options & Variants
Request types: The Approvals tab may include various types of time-related requests beyond leave and WFH.
Filters available: Filters may vary based on request type but generally include options to refine by status, employee, and date.
Tip: Use filters to quickly find specific requests instead of scrolling through long lists.
Important: Badges are updated in real-time and serve as your alert system for pending items.
