If your policy's effective date falls mid-week (e.g., Tuesday) and the weekly penalisation cycle is set to start from Monday, Keka will begin applying penalties from the next full cycle.
For example, if the effective date is 22nd July (Tuesday) and the weekly cycle starts on Monday, penalisation will begin from 28th July (next Monday).
This ensures consistency in tracking and avoids applying penalties during a partial week.
Tip: To avoid delays in enforcement, align the policy effective date with the cycle start day (e.g., both on a Monday).
Note: Changing the weekly cycle start day later is possible but not recommended once the policy is active.
