- Go to Time Attend > Attendance Tracking > Penalisation Policy.
- Choose the tracking policy you want.
- Move to the Versions section and click the Edit Icon next to the latest version.
- In the basic information section, select the effective date and click Save (you cannot choose a past date).
- Move to the Work Hours section and enable the option "Work hours shortage" by toggling the switch.
- Configure the option "Deduct leave for the shortage of Effective/Gross Hours on Day/Week/Month."
- For the option "If average effective hours in a Day is less than shift hours, deduct leave as per policy below," choose the percentage of shift hours and the number of leaves to be deducted.
- Click Save.
