Introduction
Employees may occasionally miss marking their attendance due to various reasons. In such cases, the organization may allow the employee to apply for regularisation, depending on the organization's attendance tracking policy. In Keka, there are two types of regularisation options available, depending on the organization's rules. Here's how you can apply for regularisation and ensure your attendance is properly updated.
Types of Regularisation in Keka
Adjust Attendance Logs:
Employees can add or update their attendance logs for the day. However, penalisation may still apply if the logs don't meet the organization's tracking policy criteria.
Regularise Attendance to Exempt from Tracking Policy:
No logs are required for this type of regularisation. The day will be exempt from any tracking policy penalisation, and the employee will not incur any penalties for missing attendance.
The organization can choose to enable one or both types of regularisation for employees.
Regularise Your Attendance in Keka
Go to the Me section and select Attendance.
Locate the day for which you want to regularise your attendance.
On the right side under the Logs section, you will see an Options button. Click on Options, and then select Regularise.
Choose Your Regularisation Type:
Based on your organization's tracking policy, you will see one or both options:
Add/Update Time Entries: If you want to adjust your attendance logs, select this option. You will be able to modify the time entries for the day. If there are no logs for that day, you will have the option to Add Logs.
Raise Regularisation Request to Exempt from Policy: If you prefer to exempt the day from tracking policy penalisation, select this option and simply enter a note. Once completed, click Request.
After making the necessary adjustments or entering your note, click Request to submit your regularisation request.
We hope this guide makes the process of raising an attendance regularisation request in Keka clear and easy to follow.
