How to schedule an interview on Keka Hire?

Introduction

This article walks you through how to schedule interviews in Keka Hire—whether it's online, face-to-face, or self-scheduled by the candidate. It's designed for recruiters and hiring managers looking to streamline their interview coordination process.

What’s new? Interview scheduling now defaults to your system time zone. This ensures accurate timing, especially when working with candidates or teams across multiple time zones.

Schedule an interview

Go to the Hire section from the left navigation menu.
Under Candidates, select My Candidates.
Find the candidate you want to schedule with, click the three dots under the Actions menu, and choose Select Interview.
Alternatively, click into the candidate’s Profile, then click Schedule.
Choose the interview type: Online, Face to Face, or Self-Schedule Interview.
You can also schedule from the Jobs section:
- Click Jobs in the left menu.
- Select the relevant Job.
- Choose the Stage where the candidate currently is.
- Click the three dots under Actions and select Schedule Interview.
In the Schedule Interview window:
- Choose Online, Face to Face, or Self-Schedule.
- Click Schedule to proceed.

You can schedule interviews through:
- Candidate Profile
- Interactions > Schedule
Interview types:
- Online
- Face to Face
- Self-Schedule Interview
Interviewers cannot be pre-assigned by round. You must assign interviewers during scheduling.

Field Reference / Parameters

Field	Description
Interview Panel	Select one or more interviewers.
Date & Time	Pick the interview date, start time, and duration.
Meeting Platform	Choose the platform (e.g., Zoom, Teams).
Scorecard	Attach a scorecard if available.
Email to Candidate	Choose a template or write a custom email.
Note to Interview Panel	Add optional notes for interviewers.
Send	Finalizes the schedule and sends invites.

Notes, Tips, Important, Warnings

Tip: Interview times default to the system time zone of the scheduler to help avoid confusion, especially when managing remote or international interviews.

Important: You can only assign interviewers during the scheduling step—there’s no way to pre-set interviewers by round.
