Work From Home (WFH) allows employees to perform their job duties remotely, offering flexibility and a better work-life balance while helping organizations maintain productivity.
In most cases, employees are required to seek approval before working remotely instead of reporting to the physical workplace. Let’s look at how you can submit a WFH request in Keka.
Steps to Apply for WFH
Go to the Me section in the Keka portal.
Click on Attendance.
On the top-right of the page, under Actions, select Work From Home.
Submitting the WFH Request
A pop-up window will appear.
Select the Date(s) you want to work from home.
Choose the Session (first half, second half, or full day).
Enter the Reason for your request.
(Optional) Add the names of employees you want to Notify about your WFH.
Click Request to submit.
Submitting an Hourly WFH Request
If your WFH request is for just a few hours, check the option “This is an hourly Work From Home (WFH) request.”
Select the time range for which you’ll be working remotely.
⚠️ This option is available only if it’s enabled in your Capture Scheme configuration.
Approval Process
Once submitted, your WFH request will automatically move through the approval chain set in your capture scheme.
And that’s it! You’ve successfully applied for Work From Home in Keka.
