Employees often work on multiple objectives—but not all goals contribute equally to performance ratings. While equal weighting is the default, Keka gives you the flexibility to assign custom weightages to individual objectives or KPIs, allowing for more precise performance evaluation.
Note: This option is available but not recommended unless your organisation requires differential weighting.
Steps to change from equal weightages to User-defined weightage for Objectives
Go to the Performance module.
Click on the Goals tab.
Under Objectives, open the Settings menu.

In Goal Settings, go to the Objective Settings section.

Click Edit next to Additional KRA Settings.
In the edit window:
Check the box Allow user-defined weightages for.

From the dropdown, select whether to apply it to:
Goals
KPIs
Goals and KPIs
7. Save to apply the changes.
You can now define custom weightages for each objective or KPI based on its importance—giving you more control over how performance is measured.
