The Progress Metric Type determines how progress is tracked for a goal in Keka. If you need to change the measurement type (for example, from Percentage to Number or Completed/Not Completed), you can easily update it while editing the goal.
Access the Goal
- Navigate to Performance from the left navigation menu.
- Click Goals from the top menu.
- Select Manage Goals.
Open the Goal for Editing
- Locate the goal whose progress metric you want to update.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋮) under the Actions column.
- Select Edit.
Update the Progress Metric Type
- In the Edit Goal window, locate the Progress metric type field.
- Click the dropdown menu.
- Select the required measurement type:
- Percentage – Track progress as a percentage value.
- Number – Track progress using numerical targets.
- Completed/Not Completed – Track progress as a binary completion status.
Review and Update Target Values
- After selecting the new measurement type, review the Target section.

Save the Changes
