Introduction
By removing IP address restrictions for Web Clock-in, employees can clock in from any internet-connected location. This is especially helpful for remote teams or those who frequently travel.
This guide shows you how to update your capture scheme in Keka to remove the IP limitation and enable flexible attendance tracking.
Remove IP address restrictions for Web Clock-in
Go to the Time Attend section.
Click on Attendance Tracking from the left-hand menu.
Switch to the Capture Scheme tab.
Select the relevant capture scheme and click the Update icon.
In the Update Capture Scheme window:
Scroll to the Web Clock-In section.
Uncheck the box labeled Enable IP restriction to remove all IP restrictions.
If you want to restrict to specific IPs instead:
Check the Enable IP restriction box.
Select one or more IP addresses to restrict access.
Click +Add more if you need to include additional IP addresses.
After selecting, click Select.
Click Save to apply your changes.
