What Happens When No Interview Slots Are Available?
The Suggesting Alternate Date and Time feature allows candidates to propose timings when pre-set slots aren't available, ensuring smoother scheduling. This improves the candidate experience and showcases your organization’s flexibility.
Scenario: Suggesting Alternate Date and Time
When no pre-set interview slots are available, candidates have the flexibility to suggest alternate dates and times to the recruiter.
Steps for Suggesting Availability:
-
Notification of Unavailability:
- On accessing the scheduling link, the candidate will see a notification stating, “No interview slots available at the moment.”
-
Click "Suggest Date and Time":
- A button labeled “Suggest date and time” will be visible.
- Clicking this button redirects the candidate to the suggestion page.
3. Provide Alternate Dates and Times:
-
- Candidates can select specific dates and time ranges from a calendar.
- They can add up to three time slots for consideration.
- Example: March 12, 4 PM - 6 PM; March 16, 5 PM - 6 PM.
4. Confirm Suggestions:
-
- After adding the preferred time slots, click on the “Confirm” button.
- The suggestions are then sent to the recruiter for review.
5. Confirmation of Submission:
- A final confirmation message is displayed, indicating the suggestions have been successfully submitted.
- The recruiter will review the slots and update the candidate accordingly.
Key Benefits:
- Empowers candidates to propose schedules when standard options are unavailable.
- Ensures continued communication between the candidate and recruiter for better coordination.
This process facilitates a smooth and professional experience for candidates, reducing the likelihood of scheduling conflicts and enhancing the flow of communication.
