As an admin in Keka, managing employee remuneration types is now more flexible than ever. Keka provides multiple remuneration types — Annual, Daily, and the newly added Hourly, Monthly. This allows you to tailor salary structures to meet diverse organizational requirements. Here's everything you need to know about switching between remuneration types.
Why Choose Different Remuneration Types?
Organizations often have employees with varying employment arrangements:
- Annual Remuneration: Ideal for employees with year-long contracts and fixed yearly pay.
- Monthly Remuneration: Perfect for short-term contracts (e.g., 6 to 12 months) where annual compensation may not be relevant or required.
- Daily Remuneration: Commonly used for employees with daily wages, such as contractors or temporary staff.
- Hourly Remuneration: Specifically designed for employees paid based on working hours, often found in retail, part-time, or gig roles.
Switching remuneration types ensures employees are compensated accurately and in alignment with their employment terms.
