New Joiners Section

 
The 'New Joiners' section in Keka's onboarding module is where candidates transition into becoming full-fledged members of your organization. Once a candidate accepts an offer and their joining date is set, they appear in this section, poised for the next steps in the onboarding journey. 
 
 

 

Navigating the New Joiners Interface 

 

In the New Joiners dashboard, HR professionals can efficiently manage the final stage of the hiring process with several key actions: 

 

To easily manage and action tasks for each new hire, you have the filters option, using which you can filter by department, location, or job title.

 

  • Add as Employee: Clicking this will redirect you to a detailed form where you can fill in or confirm the candidate's employment details. Information previously collected during the application process is pre-filled to streamline the completion of their profile. 
  • Mark as No Show: In cases where a candidate fails to show up on their joining date, you can mark them as 'no show'. This helps keep track of hiring metrics and aids in follow-up actions. 
  • Map to Existing Employee: If the new joiner is returning or concurrently employed in a different department, their new profile can be linked to their existing employee record for a unified view of their history and contributions. 
  • Cancel Candidature: Should there be a change of plans, you have the option to cancel the candidature. This can be done with the additional option to archive the candidate's data for future reference.

Once all necessary details are reviewed and confirmed, adding the new joiner as an employee is just a few clicks away. This pivotal moment marks the completion of the onboarding cycle and the beginning of the employee's journey within your company.
