Profile field permissions for updating profile photos
This new feature allows you to customize profile field permissions for profile photos. This update provides you, especially if you are working with blue-collar workforce, with better control over their employees' profiles.
Both Employe & Manager can set the following permissions for their profile photo :
- Can View
- Can update
- Approval not needed
- Need approval from manager or HR Admin
- Need approval from HR Admin
To set these permissions as a privileged user, go to the employee's profile, click on the profile tab, then select the field permissions tab.
Next, click on the dropdown menu under the employee profile header to find the profile image option. To edit or adjust permissions, click on the pencil icon under the edit tab.
Make any necessary changes and save them by clicking on save button.
If the setting is configured as "Approval needed," you can review and either approve or reject the changes.
To do this, simply navigate to your org, select the employees tab, and then access the profile changes section. Here, you will find a list of employees awaiting approval. Click on the "Verify" option under the actions tab to review and either approve or reject the changes.
You have the option to either approve or reject the changes. If you decide to reject the change, please make sure to provide a reason for the rejection.
We hope you now have a good understanding of the enhancement.
