Managing ID Card Settings in Keka

Keka has enhanced the Digital ID Card feature to improve your user experience and provide greater flexibility. This guide is designed to walk you through managing the ID Card settings effectively, helping you maximize the new functionalities.

Accessing ID Card Settings:

From the Keka homepage, click on Org in the left navigation menu. In Org, select Employees and then navigate to Settings. Choose ID Card within the Settings menu to view and modify the Digital ID Card settings.

 

Enabling/Disabling Digital ID Cards:

To control the availability of Digital ID Cards for your organization, click Edit Settings within the ID Card settings. Use the toggle to enable or disable the Digital ID Cards as needed. Click Save to apply your changes.

Customizing ID Card Fields:

Keka allows you to customize the details displayed on both the front and back of the ID card. In the ID Card settings, you’ll find options to configure the fields that appear. Check or uncheck the fields you want to display, such as Employee Number, Department, and Email. Rearrange certain fields by dragging and dropping them using the handle icon (six dots).

Adding Custom Fields

 

You can  incorporate up to two custom fields on the ID Card. Click on +Add custom field. Choose from predefined fields.

To change the logo displayed on the ID Card, click the Upload Company Logo button. Select and upload your desired image file, adhering to the resolution guidelines specified by Keka such as Max resolution 150 x 50 px.


Adding Custom Text on the Back of the ID Card

 

Personalize the back of the ID card with custom text. Enable the custom text field and type the text you want, such as your company motto or instructions for ID card use. Please note if you are a new or current Keka user the default custom text will be  "Glad to have you with us! Time to achieve great things together"  and you can edit it by clicking on the pencil icon.

 

Saving Changes

After you've made the necessary adjustments, click on Save to ensure all changes are effectively updated.
