Managing hiring requisitions

All organizations need to hire new employees to meet business needs and goals. This could be for improving productivity, expanding operations, or enhancing customer service. As a team leader or manager, it is your responsibility to check if the hiring request is valid and also understand important factors related to the position, such as the job title, number of positions available, type of job, department, location, salary range, target hiring date, job description, qualification, and experience required.

Requisitions

Go to the My Team (1) menu and click on Hiring (2) and then on Requisitions (3). To act upon requisitions that are active at the moment, click on Active Requisitions (4). You can view active requisitions under two titles: Direct Reports and Indirect Reports (5).

While the Direct Reports section contains particulars of employees who directly report to you, the Indirect Reports section contains details of those who report to the manager under you.

Internal job applications

In order to act upon pending approvals, go to the My Team (1) menu. Click on Hiring (2) and then on Internal Job Applicants (3). Under Pending Approvals (4), select the employee (5) whose hiring requisition you want to act upon. Then, click Approve/Reject (6). 

If you want to decide only after verifying the details of the requisition, click View (7).  

On the View Internal Job Request overlay window, check the details and then click Approve/Reject.

If you choose Reject, an overlay window will pop up, where you can type in the reason for the rejection. Then, click Confirm.

To view past requests, navigate to My Team >> Hiring >> Internal Job Applicants >> Past Requests >> View.

Clicking on View will pop up an overlay window where you can find details of the applicant such as their experience in the company, position, resume etc.

Offers

Under this section, you can verify pending job offer letters and act upon them. To do that, navigate to My Team >> Hiring >> Offers.

Under Pending Offers (4), select the employees (5) and click Approve/Reject. To verify the content of the offer letters, click on Actions (7).

On the overlay window, you can find the offer letter. You can either go through the content or download the file by clicking on the Download button. Then click Approve/Reject.

If you select Reject, a comment box will pop up in which you can enter the reason for rejecting and then click Reject.
