What are Assets in Keka?
In simple terms, Assets are any physical or digital resources that are owned or used by your organization. These can include office equipment, vehicles, software licenses, and more, for example - Laptops, Monitors, Bikes, Loading trucks, Chairs, etc.
Why is asset management important?
Asset management is essential in an organization for tracking asset assignments, managing asset conditions, and charging for any damages to promote accountability. It also ensures that tech assets like laptops and desktops are regularly updated to prevent cyber threats.
How to access assets in Keka - Admin view
Navigate to Org (1) from the left navigation pane and select Assets (2).
How to access assets in Keka - Employee view
Go to the Employee profile using the search bar and select the Assets tab. Here you can find the list of assets assigned.
Recovering charges for asset damages
Keka now enables management to impose charges on employees for any damages incurred to the assets. Please refer here for full article.
