Performance FAQs

How to setup automatic reviews in keka?

The review process is when managers assess employees' achievements and progress toward goals. By comparing performance to expectations, providing feedback, and measuring contribution to company goals, reviews play a vital role in appraisals. Managers must be aware of job expectations, monitor behavior and results, compare them to expectations, and measure alignment for effective performance evaluation.

For most organizations, the review cycles occur at the same frequency every year. These reviews can be Quarterly, half-yearly, or yearly. In Keka, you can set up automatic review cycles to be created based on the frequency selected and use those to run your review cycles.

To set up an automatic review cycle go to Performance (1) and select Reviews (2). Then under Review Cycles select Create New Review Cycle (3).

In the Start Review Setup window,  give the Review Cycle name (5). Under How reviews happen in your organization? (6), select if the review for the employees in the review group should start based on the Date of joining or at the same time for all employees.

Then select the Frequency of the review and when the auto-create Cycle starts from (7) based on the frequency selected the system will auto-create the cycles. Once done click Next (8).

Next, choose the review cycle month in which you would like to assign your employees to the review group.

Once you've chosen the review cycle month, select the employees you wish to add to that cycle by clicking on the Check Box (12) to their names. After selecting, click on Save (13) to add these employees.

Once the employees are added click Complete (14).

This will create a new review cycle which will trigger review cycles as per the frequency set based on the review cycle start date.
