How to hold back the payslip once it has been released on the Keka?

A payslip, or salary slip, is a monthly document given to employees by their employer. If the employer needs to make changes to a particular month's salary processing, they can hold back the payslip to restrict the employee's access to that month's previously released pay slip.

On your Keka portal, you can hold back a payslip or make it invisible to the employee using the following steps:

Click on the Payroll (1) tab on the left panel. Find Run Payroll (2) and click on it. Select the finalized payroll month (3).

Then, scroll down to find the Payroll Outcome and then click on Manage Payslips (4).

After clicking on Manage Payslips, you can find if the payslip has been released or not (Yes or No) under Payslip Released (1).

The employee can view this released payslip by going to My Finances (1) >> My Pay (2) >> Pay Slips (3).

Here they can view the payslip for a month (4) by clicking on it.

If you want to prevent the employee(s) from viewing this released payslip, select the employees and click on Hold Back Payslips.

You'll get a confirmation dialog box, where you have to click Yes to confirm.

Note that once the payslip has been held back, the status will change to No.

Now the payslip for this month will not be visible to this employee if they try accessing it by navigating to My Finances (1) >> My Pay (2) >> Pay Slips (3)
