How to enable/disable PF for a pay group?
If a paygroup is created for consultant workers, or those who are not part of the organization, then the employer will disable the PF (Provident Fund) contribution for that paygroup. This is because consultants are not part of the PF contribution for the organization.
To enable or disable PF for a pay group, navigate to Payroll (1) then go to Settings (2).
In the Pay Groups (3) tab, select the relevant pay group if you have more than one configured. Now click on the Configure (4) icon to enter the settings.
Select the Contributions (1) tab and click on the three dots and select Update PF Settings (2).
On the Provident Fund (PF) Settings, toggle the button at the top to enable or disable Provident Fund (PF) for that pay group.
Onece you have made all the changes as per your requirement, click on Update.
This will enable or disable PF contributions for a pay group.
