How to Edit Approval for Requisitions?

Once a job requisition is moved to HIRE, it can't be deleted; you can only archive it by adding it as a job. This can lead to multiple entries for the same job if there are multiple requests. To prevent this, you can introduce an approval step. An approver can review if there are duplicate entries and make the call to approve or reject the requisition. There could be other reasons for rejection too. This process ensures streamlined requisitions and avoids redundancies.

To add the approval chain for Requisitions, go to Org (1) and move to Hiring (2). Then navigate to Settings (3) and you will see Requisition Approval. Here you can Enable approval chain (4) by clicking on the pencil icon under Actions.

In the subsequent window, click on the Pencil Icon to either add a new approval entry or modify an existing one for the requisitions.

To enable the approval chain, click on the corresponding button under the Approval flow section. Here, you can either enter the name of the employee who will serve as the approver or select a specific role. If your approval process involves multiple levels, you can add additional levels as needed. Once you have configured the approval chain to your satisfaction, don’t forget to click Update to save your changes.

Hope the process to add the approval chain for Requisitions is now clear. Need more help? You can refer to the other articles available or Contact us!
