How to create a new rating scale?
A rating scale is a tool used to evaluate an employee's performance and quality. It involves a set of ordered response options representing different levels of a specific attribute. These options can be numerical or descriptive categories. Reviewers choose the option that best matches their opinion.
In Keka, you can create multiple rating scales for various review groups or cycles using the same scale selected during the initial setup. Now, let's see how the performance admin can create these scales.
To create a new rating scale, navigate to the Performance tab (1) and choose Reviews (2). Within the Review group, select the specific Review Cycle. Then, within the options for the Review cycle, click on the Cycle Settings action button (3) and select Edit (4).
Within the window, navigate to the Review Form section and then click on "Add new scale" under Rating Scale to create a new rating scale.
Suggest a Rating scale name (1), add the Rating Labels (2), you may also add a Description if you like and then click Save (3).
This is how the performance admin can create a new rating scale.
