How to check or update the LWF settings?
LWF or Labour Welfare Fund is a statutory fund that's managed by state authorities to improve working conditions for laborers. It offers social and financial security to help raise their standard of living. The Labour Welfare Fund Act has been authorized by various states to focus specifically on laborers' welfare. Employers and employees both contribute to the fund, with different contribution rates. Keka allows employers to configure their LWF settings as per their specific requirements.
To do so, navigate to Payroll (1) >> Settings (2)
In the Pay Groups (3) tab, select the appropriate pay group if you have more than one configured. Click on the Configure (4) icon.
On the Configure Pay Groups page, select the Contributions tab (1) and click on the three dots. Select Update LWF Settings (2) from the dropdown.
In the Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) Settings window, you can make the necessary changes to the various LWF settings that you have setup for the pay group.
Once you are done making the necessary changes, click Update.
