How to change the order of components displayed in payslip?

A payslip is a document that summarizes an employee's earnings and deductions for a specific pay period, displaying the salary structure and components. In Keka, you have the flexibility to customize the payslip to align with your organization's culture. This includes the option to rearrange the order of components displayed in the payslip. Let's explore how you can easily make these customizations.


Go to the Payroll (1) section of the Keka portal and click on Settings (2) where you will be redirected to the Pay Groups (3) tab. 



Click on the Configure icon against the pay group for which you want to customize the payslip. 



Click on Salary Components (1) and then, go to Order of components (2). Click on the 3 dots (3) and select Update visibility order (4)



Select the Component Categories (1) for which the order has to be changed and then press and drag the drag handle icon (2) of that component below or above any other component where it needs to be displayed in the payslip. Once the required arrangement is achieved, you can click on Update (3) to save the display.


The updated display of the order of components in the payslip will be effective from the upcoming payroll cycle.
