How to change the bonus payout date for an employee?

A bonus is an extra payment given by an employer on specific occasions. There are times when an organization may need to alter the payout date for an employee's bonus due to various reasons. These reasons can include administrative changes, such as adjustments in the company's financial calendar or payroll processing. Additionally, internal policy updates, budget constraints, or unforeseen circumstances might also prompt changes in the bonus payout date. It is important for the organization to communicate any modifications clearly to ensure transparency and keep employees well-informed.

Now, let's explore how you can change the bonus payout date for an employee.

Go to the Global search bar (1) of the Keka portal and search for the employee whose bonus payout date you want to change. On the profile, click Finances (2) and then go to the Pay (3) section.

Here make sure that you are on the Salary (1) tab where you'll be able to see the Salary Timeline of the employee. Under that, click on the arrow mark (2) beside the Regular Salary amount.

A new slide will appear below where you can scroll to find the Bonus section, click on the 3 dots (1) and select Edit Bonus (2) from the dropdown.

An overlay screen appears where you can select Payout due on (1) date and select the required date of a bonus payment from the calendar. Once the required changes are done, add a Note and click on Save (2).
