How to add statutory filing details

Statutory filings, also known as statutory reports, are reports that employers must submit to government agencies. These reports contain financial and non-financial information about the company and are essential for ensuring compliance with laws related to businesses and employment. Failure to submit these reports can lead to suspicion from the government and potential legal consequences. To avoid such issues, each company must register itself and provide the necessary details to file the required statutory reports. It is crucial to add the corresponding filing details for each statutory body and location to remain compliant with the law.

Lets see how to add any statutory filing details on the Keka portal.

Click on the Payroll (1) menu. Go to Settings (2) and click on Pay Groups (3). Choose your pay group (if you have multiple groups) and then click on the configure (4) icon against it under Actions.

On the next page that pops up, click on Filing details (1).  Now you can click on any of the tabs (Income Tax, PF, ESI, LWF, or PT) (2) and you can update the filling details from there.
