Employee Engagement
How can we prorate any component based on the number of days worked or LOP days?
In payroll processing, if an employee has fewer working days due to leave without pay or if they join or leave the organization in the middle of the month, the system will adjust the component value in proportion to the actual defined values in their salary structure.
In Keka, you have the option to choose which component value should be affected by leave without pay and which components should remain the same, with a monthly value regardless of leave days.
Log in to your Keka portal and click on the Payroll (1) tab on the left pane.
Go to SETTINGS (2) and then find Pay Groups (3). If you have multiple Pay Groups, choose the one you want to work on. Now, click on the configure icon (4) against it.
On the next window, click on Salary Component (1) under the name of the Pay Group. Under Recurring Components (2), choose the component you want to edit and click on the edit icon (3).
In the window that appears, find and enable the option 'This component value is not impacted by Loss of Pay (LOP), due to employees attendance or Unpaid leave?'. Now, click Update.
