Get an overview of the Keka HR Attendance Dashboard. Learn how to track employee attendance, view insights, and manage time effectively in one place.
Attendance Dashboard is a comprehensive tool designed to provide a detailed overview of your organization's attendance data. This section is divided into four major tabs: Attendance Summary, Attendance Analytics, Leave Summary, and Leave Analytics. Each tab offers a wealth of information and insights to help you manage your workforce effectively.
To navigate to Attendance dashboard, from the left-hand side menu, select Time Attend.
Attendance Summary Tab
The Attendance Summary tab provides a snapshot of the current attendance status and key metrics. Here's what you will find:
- Total Employees: Total number of employees in the system.
- Early/On Time Arrivals: Number of employees who arrived early or on time.
- Late Arrivals: Number of employees who arrived late.
- Work From Home: Number of employees working from home.
- On Duty: Number of employees on duty.
- Remote Clock-In: Number of employees clocking in remotely.
- Not In Yet: Number of employees not yet clocked in.
- Holiday/Weekly Off: Number of employees on holiday or weekly off.
To see more details, simply click on View Employees within any of these sections. This will allow you to view specific information such as employees who arrived late or who have not yet clocked in.
Attendance for Past Dates:
- Employees Present: Percentage of employees present during the selected duration.
- Avg. Work Hours Spent: Average effective hours spent by employees during the selected duration.
- Avg. Overtime Hours: Average overtime hours worked by employees during the selected duration.
- Total Attendance Discrepancies: Total penalties due to attendance discrepancies during the selected period.
Employees' Arrival Stats:
- A graphical representation showing early/on-time arrivals, late arrivals, no logs/on leave, and holiday/weekly off status over the past few days.
- You can either select employee count or employee percentage
- You also have an option to export the graph as a PDF or PNG for internal audits.
Work from Home/OD Stats:
- A graph displaying work from home, on-duty, and holiday/weekly off stats over the selected period.
- You can also adjust the graph view by selecting either employee count or employee percentage as a filter in the arrival stats section.
- You also have an option to export the graph as a PDF or PNG for internal audits.
Attendance Analytics Tab
The Attendance Analytics tab offers detailed insights into various aspects of employee attendance. It consists of the following sections:
Most Hours Worked:
- Displays departments or locations with the most hours worked and provides a graphical leaderboard for the duration you select.
Under the graphical leaderboard, you have the option to generate a report that displays the total hours worked and average daily hours worked, allowing you to filter the data based on business unit, department, or location.
Overtime Hours:
- Displays departments or locations with the most overtime hours worked and provides a graphical leaderboard for the duration you select.
Under the graphical leaderboard, you have the option to generate a report that displays the total overtime hours worked and average overtime hours worked in a day, allowing you to filter the data based on business unit, department, or location.
Work Hours Shortage:- Displays departments or locations with the most work hours shortage and provides a graphical leaderboard for the duration you select.
Under the graphical leaderboard, you have the option to generate a report that displays the total work hours worked and average hours worked in a day, allowing you to filter the data based on business unit, department, or location.
Most Breaks Taken:
- Displays departments or locations with the most breaks taken and provides a graphical leaderboard for the duration you select.
Under the graphical leaderboard, you have the option to generate a report that displays the total breaks taken worked and average breaks taken in a day, allowing you to filter the data based on business unit, department, or location.
Leave Summary Tab
The Leave Summary tab provides an overview of leave-related data. It includes the following details:
Today's Leave Stats:
- Paid Leave: Number of employees on paid leave.
- Unpaid Leave: Number of employees on unpaid leave.
- Sick Leave: Number of employees on sick leave.
- AWOL (Absent Without Leave): Number of employees absent without leave.
This functionality is especially beneficial for tracking and offering a comprehensive view of your organization's daily attendance. You can customize the filter based on department or location for a more tailored analysis.
Leave for Past Dates:
- Employees on Leave: Percentage of employees on leave during the selected duration.
- Avg. Leave Taken: Average leave taken by an employee during the selected duration.
- Total Leave Balance: Total leave balance available with employees irrespective of selected date range.
- Unplanned Leave Taken: Total leave applied for after the leave has been consumed/taken.
This feature allows you to track the leaves taken by employees in your organization for a specific duration, helping you monitor the overall leave management and well-being of your organization.

Leave Analytics Tab
The Leave Analytics tab provides detailed analysis of leave patterns and statistics. It is divided into the following sections:
Most Leave Taken:
- Displays departments or location with the most leave taken and provides a graphical leaderboard.
Unplanned Leave Taken:
- Lists departments or locations with the most unplanned leave taken and provides a graphical leaderboard.
Leave Balance Available:
- Shows the leave balance available across different departments and provides a graphical representation.
Within each of the aforementioned sections, users have the ability to generate a detailed report to gain insights into the total leave, total unplanned leave, and total leave taken. Additionally, users can filter the report based on business unit, department, and location to further analyze the data.
