Keeping track of project linked expenses

A crucial component of effective project management is the oversight of expenses incurred by employees. By closely monitoring these costs, project managers can keep the project budget in check and ensure that all resources are compensated fairly.

 

With Keka PSA, tracking project expenses, approval statuses, and submitted receipts is a straightforward process. To begin, navigate to the Project (1) section, followed by the Projects (2) subsection. This will take you to the Project List tab, where you can select the relevant project (3) from the Active Projects section to examine its expenses.

 

 

After selecting a project, the details section will be displayed. Here, you will find the Expense tab, which lists all expenses submitted for the project within the specified date range.

To find specific expenses, utilize the filters available for Expense Category and Date Range. Once you've pinpointed the expense you need, simply click the link in the Receipts column to access the relevant documents or receipts submitted by the employee.

 

 

The Expense section will only be visible if the 'Allow expenses to be billed against this project' option is enabled in Billing settings.
