To ensure seamless communication, it’s essential to whitelist certain domains in your email management systems. This Article outlines the steps to whitelist the domain kekamail.com in both Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Google Workspace (G Suite). Follow the instructions provided to avoid any disruption in receiving emails.

Whitelisting/Allowlisting kekamail.com in Microsoft 365 Admin Center

 

Step 1: Access Microsoft 365 Admin Center

 
Log in/sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and navigate to Admin centers. From there, select Exchange to continue with the whitelisting process.
 
Step 2: Create a New Spam Filter Policy
 
In the Exchange Admin Center, go to Protection, then navigate to the Spam filter section. Click on Create a new spam filter policy  there.
 
Step 3: Configure the Spam Filter Policy
 
Name your policy (for example, "Allow KekaMail"). Next, under the Allow lists section, click on the  "+"  icon to add domains. Enter kekamail.com and then click on Add. Finally, click on Save to ensure your changes are applied successfully.
 
Step 4: Assign the Policy to Specific Users or Groups (Optional)
 
Specify whether you want to apply this policy to specific users or groups by selecting under the Applied to section. Click on the "+"  icon to add users or groups, then choose the ones you wish to apply the policy to. Click on Save to confirm your selections.
 
Step 5: Finalize the Configuration
 
Make sure to review the settings and then click on Save. This will successfully whitelist the domain kekamail.com for the designated users or groups.
 

How to Whitelist/Allowlist kekamail.com in Google Workspace (G Suite)

 
Step 1: Access Google Admin Console
 
Access your Google Admin Console by signing in. Once you're on the dashboard, navigate to Apps, then head to Google Workspace. Click on Gmail and choose the option for Spam, phishing, and malware to continue.
 
Step 2: Create a New Inbound Gateway
 
Navigate to the Inbound Gateway section and click on Configure. Provide a name for the configuration, such as "Allow KekaMail." Leave the Gateway IPs field blank since the domain itself is already being allowed.
 
Step 3: Add kekamail.com to the Allowlist
 
Scroll down to bypass spam filters for messages received from addresses or domains within approved sender lists. Click on Use existing or create a new list, then add kekamail.com to ensure it is included in the approved senders list.
 
Step 4: Save the Configuration

How to Whitelist/Allowlist kekamail.com in Group Email Settings

 
Step 1: Microsoft 365 (Office 365) Group Email Settings

How to Perform a Mail Flow/Message Trace Search in Microsoft 365 Admin Center

 
Step 1: Access Microsoft 365 Admin Center
 
Sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center. From the left navigation pane, click on Admin centers, and then select Exchange to proceed.
 
Step 2: Open the Mail Flow Dashboard
 
In the Exchange Admin Center , Navigate to the Mail flow section and then select Message trace to proceed with tracing emails.
 
Step 3: Perform a Custom/Basic Message Trace
 
Initiate a new search by clicking on Start a trace in the Start-History pane. Enter the email address of the user you wish to trace in the Sender field. For the Recipient field, you can enter the recipient's email address (no-reply@kekamail.com), or leave it blank for visibility of all emails. Specify the date range for when the email was sent or received, and if available, enter the Message ID (e.g., Birthday Wishes, Invitation to Keka) for a more specific search. Click on Search to begin the trace.
 
Step 4: Review and Export Results
 
  

The search results will list all emails that meet your search criteria, showing their delivery status. Click on any email to view detailed information, including:

- Delivery status

- Timestamp

- Event timeline

- Delivery action (e.g., delivered, filtered as spam, etc.)

 

How to Perform a Mail Flow/Message Trace Search in Google Workspace (G Suite)

 
Step 1: Access Google Admin Console
 
Sign in to Google Admin Console. Once you're on the dashboard, navigate to Reports, then click on Audit and select Email Log Search.
 
Step 2: Perform an Email Log Search
 

Within the Email Log Search page, you can specify the following criteria:

 

- Date range:  Set the timeframe for when the email was sent or received.

- Sender:  Enter the email address of the user you are tracing.

- Recipient:  Optionally enter the recipient's email address.

- Message ID: If available, input the Message ID to refine your search.

- Subject: Search based on the email's subject.

 

Click on Search to initiate the trace.

 
Step 3: Review the Results
 

The search results will display all emails that meet your search criteria, providing key details such as:

- Timestamp

- Sender and recipient

- Subject

- Delivery status

 

Click on any entry to access detailed information, including:

- Message headers

- Routing details

- Delivery status (e.g., delivered, bounced, quarantined, etc.)
