How to restrict an employee from one legal entity from viewing another entity's details?
The Visibility tab can be accessed through settings and placed in Roles and Permissions under Global settings.
2. Select the basis of setting visibility by selecting Business Unit, Legal Entity
Clicking on “Save Configuration” would save the configuration.
Effects on Employee Visibility Settings
- Employees from 1 Legal Entity/Business Unit won’t be able to see employees from other Legal Entity /Business Unit
- Employees won’t be able to search for an employee in the other Legal Entity/Business Unit
- Employees won’t be able to see any activities of employees in other Legal Entity/Business Unit
- Employees won’t be able to extract any employee information in the other Legal Entity/Business Unit
Note:
-
Privileged employees will be exempted from employee settings and will have view access employees based on the logic: Scope of privilege Union Scope of visibility setting
- Special rights will be restricted to the scope of the privileged user
- Privileged users are the ones added in User roles tab of roles and permissions
- Reportee and Reporting manager will have view access to each other.
- Other parts of product would work the exact same way as it works today.
