How to rejoin an exited employee?
Learn how to rejoin an exited employee in KekaHR seamlessly. Restore records, update details, and ensure continuity in payroll and attendance with ease.
Sometimes, an employee who has exited the organization may need to be rehired due to business requirements, valuable expertise, or a change in circumstances. Instead of creating a new profile, rejoining allows you to restore their previous records, ensuring continuity in payroll, attendance, and historical data.
Begin by navigating to the "Org" section located in the left pane, then select the "Exits" tab. Within this tab, proceed to the "Exited Employees" phase under the Exit Process. Locate the employee you wish to rehire, click on the three-dot menu under the Actions column, and choose "Cancel & Rejoin."

In the Cancel exit & Rejoin window give the Reason for rejoin, and fill in all the details. Finally, click Save & Rejoin.
