how to change the exit date of the employee?

Exit dates may need adjustment due to project extensions, notice period modifications, business requirements, or employee requests for an earlier or later exit. Let's see how we can do it.

To change an exit date the employee must have already submitted her resignation request. 

Once the request is submitted, Admins or managers can see the employee exit request in

two places 

1. Under review

2. Exits in progress

1. Under review

Once an employee submits a resignation request it will be shown under Under review phase. Click on the review or complete review button under the actions column. 

 

This will open the exit window. Here, click on the Edit option.

In the Edit exit details tab click on the calendar icon, select the new date and finally click on the save changes button.

Another way is to click on the three-dot menu and choose update exit details.

 

This will open the Edit exit details tab, you can follow the previously mentioned process.

2. Exits in progress

If the exit request is already processed then you can change the exit date of the employee from Exits in progress phase. Here click on the Manage button.

 This will open the summary window. Now click on the three-dot menu and choose Exit exit details.

In the Edit exit details tab click on the calendar icon, select the new date and finally click on the save changes button.
