Keka’s performance review system allows organizations to configure ratings based on goals, sub-goals, and sectional weightages. This ensures that employee evaluations are structured and transparent.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how ratings are calculated using these parameters:
Navigate to the left-side panel and select the "Performance" option.
Next, navigate to the "Review" section found within the Performance tab, and select "Review Cycle."
Select the "Create Review Cycle" button to start the review process, and then proceed to complete the review form as prompted.
When configuring the review cycle, you can assign weightages in the review form, which is located in the Group Settings. From the left-hand side menu, go to "Review Form" and select "Review Form" again.
Next, you can enable the "Goals" feature and select the desired "Timeframe" for the evaluation. Additionally, configure the Reviews and Response Time according to your requirements. To facilitate a more detailed performance assessment, enable the option that allows reviewers to rate Sub-Goals.Access the dropdown menu beside "Additional Settings" to adjust the Sectional Weightage for Performance. Ensure the total weightage is 100, and distribute the weights accordingly. Additionally, enable the option to Show Sectional Weightage for Reviewers, so they can see the weight distribution during the review process.
Once you have completed all configurations and filled in the required details, click on the "Complete Setup" button. Afterward, proceed to launch and Complete the Review Cycle to check the performance review process.
To view the ratings and weightage in the Review Form, navigate to the relevant Review Cycle and select the "View Progress" option.
On the right side, choose the "All Employees" option. Then, click on the three dots located in the "Actions" column. From the dropdown menu, select "View Review Form" for the specific employee whose performance ratings you wish to review.
Once the review cycle is completed successfully, you can check the total weightage in the review form. For further details, click the "Arrow" beside "Performance Rating" in the "Review Form."
Here, you will be able to view the "Performance Rating Calculation", a detailed breakdown of how ratings are derived, as well as the ratings provided by reviewers, all based on the assigned weightages.
By following these steps, you can ensure a structured and transparent rating process in Keka’s performance review module. Configuring goals, sub-goals, and sectional weightages properly allows for a more accurate and fair evaluation of employee performance.
