When an employee resigns, their resignation request is visible in the Inbox or the Exit Process tab for Managers, HR, or Global Admins. This guide explains the steps to handle the request in the Exit Process tab. The new exit process is divided into three tabs under review, exits in progress, and exited employees The first tab is under review.
Under-Review
- The resignation request will initially appear in the Under-Review phase.
- Under the Actions column, you will see:
- Review button: To initiate the review process.
- Three-dot menu: To view details, send a reminder to the approver, or update the exit details.
Reviewing and Completing Resignation Requests
Managers or administrators must review the exit request. To initiate the review process, click the Review button, which will open a new window.
In this window, you will need to click the Review button again. If necessary, you can modify the exit details by selecting the Edit option.
After reviewing, the system will present you with options to accept, reject, or retain the resignation. You can also specify the employee's last working date and mark them as eligible for rehire if desired. It is essential to provide a mandatory comment before clicking Submit to finalize your actions.
Here, you can view the employee details and manage exit actions through icons, with statuses indicated by colours:
- Grey: Action not started.
- Yellow: Action in progress.
- Green: Action completed.

You can click on the manage button to view the Exit actions in detail.
This page is organised into several key sections that relate to the employee exit process. Let’s explore each section in detail.
The Summary section
The summary section gives you a summary of all the exit actions. Here you can click on the pencil icon to edit the last working day.
The asset section
You will see a list of assets that need to be returned by the employee. To start the recovery process, click on "Mark as Recovered." This action will change the Recovery Asset Status from "Not Started" to "In Progress." Once all assets have been successfully retrieved, manually update the status to "Ready for Finalization." Additionally, any charges for asset damage will be prominently displayed in this section for your reference.
Finances Section
You can review & finalize Employee payroll here. If there are any asset damages you can charge them here. Please refer here to know how to process Full & Final Settlement.

Survey section
This section includes an employee exit survey that is pre-configured. However, managers and administrators must enable this survey before use. You can also preview the survey to see how it appears to employees using the Preview survey option.
Tasks section
You can manage Exit tasks from this section. To create a new exit task, simply click on the "+ Add new task" button. Additionally, you have the option to import tasks from an existing task list for convenience.
Leave settings section
Manage what happens if an employee takes one of the following leave-in notice period. You can click on Edit to set them. You can decide what will happen with the remaining leave balances of the employees. The 'Availability' criteria are decided while configuring the leave type initially. Here, you can decide if the notice period will be extended if the employee applies for that leave.
Apart from these, managers/admins have other section
Teams
When a Manager or Admin submits their resignation, a specific Team section becomes accessible. This feature allows them to reassign their team members to other managers, facilitating a seamless transition of responsibilities. To modify these assignments, simply click on the Edit button and don't forget to save when you are done.
Also, You can add various filters for searchability by clicking on 3 dots and also down the reports.
Exited employees
(here also add once the employee notice period is completed they will be in exited employees in other tabs as well add one line on when employee will be in this tab)
On this page you can find the list of exited employees along with exit status along with Exit actions status. Various icons represent tasks related to the exit process, such as asset recovery, payroll finalization, and documentation. If you want to change the exit status, click on the pencil icon.
If in case you want to cancel the Exit request, you can cancel & rejoin the employee by
clicking the 3 dots option.
