New Features

Upcoming updates to Keka's exit module

We are excited to announce that significant enhancements are coming soon to the Exit Settings in Keka! As part of our ongoing efforts to improve your experience, we are revamping key aspects of the exit management process. These changes are designed to offer you more flexibility, better compliance, and a streamlined workflow.

Features & Enhancements

1.     Unified Exit Settings

We are combining the current resignation settings, termination settings, and exit reasons into a single, easy-to-manage tab called "Exit Type - Manage Resignation & Termination Settings." This change will simplify how you configure and manage exits, giving you more control with less hassle.

2. Approval and Acknowledgment Flow Options

Currently, the resignation and termination processes are limited to a single approval flow option. In this setup, users designated within the approval flow are required to approve the exit request before the process can commence. To enhance flexibility, we are introducing an option that allows users to choose between an approval flow and a new acknowledgment flow.

  • Approval Flow: Maintains the existing process in which all designated reviewers are required to approve the exit request before the employee's notice period can commence.

  • Acknowledgment Flow: In this flow, all designated reviewers for the resignation or termination request will receive a task in their Keka inbox to acknowledge the exit request. Importantly, the employee's notice period will commence even if the reviewers do not acknowledge the request.

This adjustment is especially crucial for adhering to US regulations, which safeguard an employee's right to resign and ensure that employers cannot impede this process.

Notice Period

This section will continue to function as it currently does, with no changes made.

Why these changes :

Our goal with these enhancements is to make the exit process in Keka more intuitive and aligned with your organizational needs:

  • Simplification: By merging multiple settings into one tab, we’re making it easier for you to manage all aspects of employee exits from a single location.
