Enhanced Resource Management: Resource Level Availability

Keka now provides enhanced resource management with resource-level availability, allowing you to better manage resource allocation in projects. You can set up specific availability for each resource based on time or workload.

How it works:

  • Access the feature: Navigate to Project go to the Resources section and click on Cost and Availability.

  • Define availability: Click on the desired resource to set their availability individually or select multiple resources for bulk updates.

 

  • Utilize templates: Save time by creating and applying availability templates. Access templates in Project go to Policies and Settings sections, click on Resource Management and select Availability.

  • Prioritization: If resource-level availability isn't defined, the system will default to availability set in the Allocations page.

Important Notes:

  • Week-off changes: Week-offs will now be determined from the Allocations page instead of the Attendance module.
  • Priority order: The system will prioritize availability and week-offs in the following order:
    1. Resource level availability (Cost and Availability page)
    2. Allocations page
    3. Attendance policy (if previous options are unavailable)
