The updated Review Cycle Setup offers a step-by-step process, intuitive navigation, and advanced customization options to suit your organization’s unique needs. Here's a closer look at the key features and workflow enhancements:


1. Simplified Navigation

Getting started has never been easier:

  • Access the feature through Perform → Reviews → Review Cycles.

  • First-time users are greeted with a beginner-friendly prompt, guiding them through the setup process effortlessly.

2. Intuitive Cycle Creation

Creating a review cycle is now a breeze.

  • Click “+ Review Cycle” to initiate the process.

  • Name your cycle (e.g., "Annual Cycle 2024") for quick identification, ensuring clarity for all stakeholders.

3. Flexible Scheduling

Say goodbye to rigid timelines:

  • Specify the review months using the “When do you conduct reviews in your organization?” dropdown.

  • Select multiple months (e.g., February, May) for recurring cycles to fit your organizational needs.

  • By default, the earliest selected month (chronologically) is automatically assigned as the first cycle.

  • If needed, adjust the first cycle’s timeline using the Change option to set a different month for the first cycle's start date.



  • The year dropdown will display three options: the current year, the upcoming year, and the previous year.

4. Dynamic Employee Filtering

Advanced filters simplify employee selection:

  • Condition-Based Selection: Automatically include employees based on criteria like department, location, or role.
    • For example - Add employees from the engineering department in Hyderabad.

  • Exclusion Criteria: Exclude specific groups, such as interns or employees, based on their joining date.
  • The number of employees added is instantly calculated and displayed for review.
  • With condition-based selection, all active employees meeting the specified criteria will be automatically added. The total count of employees can be viewed, but individual employees cannot be removed from the list.


5. Manual Employee Selection

Prefer a hands-on approach? The manual option has got you covered:

  • Choose the Manual Selection option during the review cycle setup to manually add employees from a list or import them via an Excel file.

  • Access the full list of eligible employees by clicking "Select from list," which displays details such as name, department, location, and more. Use checkboxes to manually choose specific employees for the cycle.

  • Use filtering options such as business unit, department, join date, or reporting manager to quickly narrow down and select employees.

  • For larger teams, use the Import from Excel feature to upload a pre-defined list of employees, streamlining the process.

  • Review the added employees and, if needed, remove specific individuals by selecting them and confirming the removal through a dialog box.
  • View the total count of employees added to the review cycle in real time, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • After finalizing employee selections, complete the setup by assigning cycle owners, setting reminders, and saving the configuration.

    Ensure complete transparency by previewing all included employees:

    • Access detailed information about each employee, including their department, manager, location, and role.
    • This step helps align the review cycle with your organizational goals.
