What is the difference between Sum of Child KPI and Average of Child KPI?

When a new goal is being created with sub-goals included, if the metric on which the parameter is being calculated is number, the system can either calculate it as an average of all KPIs or the Sum of all KPIs.

Average of Sub-goals - Calculates the progress of parent goals by taking the average progress of all the KPIs

Sum of all KPIs - Calculates the progress of a parent goals by summing up the numerical progress values of all the child goals.

Depending on the context of the KRA the admin may take the call on whether the KPIs may be taken as a sum or average.
