How to update the annual quota of leave Balance?

Learn how to update the annual quota of leave balances in Keka HRMS. Customize leave entitlements and ensure accurate leave records for employees.

The annual quota represents the number of paid leaves an employer provides to an employee, which they can use as needed according to the leave policy. These leave settings are typically established at the start of the leave calendar year within an organization. However, with Keka, administrators have the flexibility to update the annual quota for a specific leave type at any point during the leave calendar year. Let's now explore how to make such updates:

Go to the Time Attend (1) section of the Keka portal, and click on Leave (2), where you will be redirected to the Leave Plans (3) tab.

Next, navigate to the General Leave Plan (1) section and go to Configuration (2).

Under Configuration (2), locate the leave type for which you wish to update the annual quota, click on the three dots next to it under the Action menu, and then select Update.

In the Settings page, edit the 'x' days per year (1) as per the requirement by putting the annual value of the leave type in the 1st step, i.e., Accrual. Once the changes are made, click on Save Changes (2).
