Performance FAQs

How to update Objective Settings?

Performance goals are like maps for employees, showing them the way to short-term achievements. They help employees understand what's expected in their jobs and let reporting managers offer the right support and guidance. Different companies do things differently, though. In Keka you can customize the goals and their settings based on your requirements. Here's a guide to help you set up your goals to fit your company's way of doing things.

Go to Performance (1) from the left navigation pane and click on Goals (2). Under this section, you can find the Settings (3) tab, and click on Goals Settings (4).

Goal Terminology

This setting enables you to define the terminology of Goal for your organization. You can either choose from the existing terminologies or you can also add a new goal or sub-goal label as per your requirement. Click on the edit option to change it and save it.

Goal types and visibility

From this setting, you can enable goal types such as Individual, Department, and Company. The visibility options enable you to restrict other people from viewing the goals assigned to each goal type. Additionally, you can also add people who can create and manage these goals based on the goal types.

Advanced Goal Settings

Keka provides an additional customization option through this tab. You can align the child's goals with the parent's goals and also allow them to override the progress of the goals when there are key results. Additionally, you can set the minimum and maximum number of goals based on the time frame.
