How to initiate review based on joining date?
Not all organizations follow the same review cycle calendar. While most cases follow January to December or April to March cycle some organizations also use the date of joining of the employees for the review process. In Keka you can configure this in the review cycle to start reviews based on the joining date of the employee.
You can configure Review cycle to happen based on the Joining date of an employee by creating a new review cycle.
To create a new review cycle, in Performance (1) navigate to Reviews (2) and you can find Review Cycles. Under review cycles search for Create Review Cycle (3).
In the window under How does Review happens in your organization (1) Select Review happens based employee joining date. Then under How often does the review occur and when does it takes place (2) select Quarterly, Half Yearly or Yearly from the dropdown. If you select yearly and an employee joins on 21 December 2022 then the review for the employee will happen on 21 December 2023. Now select the Review cycle Start date and click Next (3).
After clicking next, complete all remaining steps. Then, in the 'Map Employees' section, select the employees to include in the review cycle. You can choose from the available list or search for employees using the 'Map Employee' option, and then click Save.
This is how you create a review cycle that starts reviews based on the joining date of the employees. Need more help? You can refer other articles available or contact Us!
