How to enable and add Questions to performance review cycle?

The review process is the procedure where reporting manager or team leader evaluates employees accomplishments and progress towards the objective and goals. It happens by comparing achievements with preset expectations and providing feedback to the employees about the same.

As per the organization's performance management policy, the admin may wish to add certain questions for the reviewers as well as the employees as part of the review cycle. Keka allows you to enable questions as part of the review cycle in the cycle settings.

Here's how you can do the same -

Navigate to the Performance (1) section where you'll find the Reviews (2) section and under that the Review Cycles (3). In the Review Cycles section click on Create Review Cycle (4)

When you click on Create Review Cycle, you have two options to choose from Quick Setup & Advance Setup.

Once you click on either Quick Setup or Advanced Setup, you will need to enter the Review Cycle Name (1) and Description (2) and then click Next.

After clicking Next, you will see a screen to select your reviewers. You can also add additional reviewers as needed.

The next screen will show you the available rating scale for the review form.

Under Review forms (1) section in Quick setup or Advance setup, you will get a screen click on Review Form (2) subsection.

Next to the reviewers, there is an option to include questions. You have the flexibility to add unique questions for each reviewer.

After clicking on adding questions, on the left side of the page you will see all the questions that are available in your library.

The library consists of questions you’ve previously added. You can easily select from these pre-existing questions by clicking on Use this question.

If you need to add new questions, you can do so on the right-hand side of the page. Here, you can type your question(1) and choose an appropriate response type(2)  from the dropdown menu (e.g., Comment, Single Select, Multi Select, UAT Rating Scale).

You can continue adding multiple questions by repeating the process. Each question can be customized to gather specific feedback relevant to the review.

And that's it. This is how Keka simplifies the process of incorporating questions within the review cycle, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation of employees' performance. In case you have any more doubts, don't hesitate in reaching out to our support team who are always ready to help you out.
