How to edit a leave type?

Learn how to edit a leave type in Keka HRMS. Customize leave policies to fit organizational needs and streamline employee leave management.

    In Keka, you can add different types of leaves and use these leave types in different leave policies. You also have the flexibility to edit these leave types whenever required.


    To do so, go to the Time Attend (1) section of the Keka Portal, click on Leave (2) and open the Leave Types (3) tab.



     

    Once you reach the Leave Types tab, select any leave that needs to be changed, and then click on the edit icon under Actions.


     

    Once you click on the edit option, a window will appear where you can edit the name of the leave type, short Code, and Description, you can also enable the option where the employee can view the description and also enable more options like a limit to the gender, restrict to marital status and give the list of reasons make all the necessary settings and click on Update.
